Compress an Image for Email
Make JPEG attachments smaller before attaching them to an email. The compressor runs locally and does not send your email or your photos.
Start with the requirements
Choose a smaller max width when full camera resolution is unnecessary. Download the result, check that the important details remain visible, then attach that file.
Make and inspect a copy
For several photos, compress each one and check the combined attachment size against your mail service's limit. Download all may require allowing multiple downloads in your browser.
What this tool changes
The output is a JPEG. Re-encoding can change quality and remove image metadata. It does not assess whether a document or photo is valid for its intended use.
